Anna Chapel - Schladming

Schladming

The Anna Chapel is a Roman Catholic chapel in Schladming in Styria. It is located northeast of the parish church, in the cemetery that surrounds the church.

The Anna Chapel was partially destroyed by fire in 1618 and rebuilt in 1630. The two-story building was originally used as a karner. The cross-ridge vaulted upper floor is laid out in two bays in the nave and has a single-bay choir with 3/8 closure.

Well-worn red marble gravestones from the 16th century are placed on the outside wall of the chapel. A crest grave stone to Matthias Katzpeck is remarkable.
