You then pick a real wooden sledge or a mountain go-kart before zooming down the 4.5-mile forest road (which in winter becomes the famous Hochwurzen Toboggan Run) into the valley below. Mountain with a view

Many hiking paths and beautiful view points are worth a trip with the 10-person gondola.
As soon as you get off at the top station, the view of the mighty Dachstein massif is breathtaking.
For all hiking fans, there is everything from a short tour to the Rossfeld to a day trip over the high trail to the Giglachsee.

Bankerlweg

Sit down, relax and enjoy glorious sweeping views on the new Box-seat Trail on the Hochwurzen. On a gentle hike from the Hochwurzen gondola lift mountain station to the summit at 1850 metres there are around 25 spots to take a break and enjoy the view from the vantage points of a series of unique benches. Each one is dedicated to a different theme so hikers can take the weight off their feet on, for example on the Lovers' bench, the Family bench and the Sunset bench.

Mountain GoKart

You love sledging on the Hochwurzen in winter? Then you're probably right with riding a  Mountain Go-Kart in summer. It's popular with kids as well as adults!

This "Harley-like" Go-Kart with 3-wheels is not only a lot of fun to ride, but it is primarily an exciting different way of getting down to the valley!
