Welcome to the Pension Schachner, your ideal home in the heart of Schladming, right at the beginning of the pedestrian zone and in the middle of the world champion town. Our central location makes us the perfect starting point for your summer and winter vacation. The Planai Schladming valley station is just a few minutes' walk away.
In our guesthouse you will find friendly and colorfully furnished single, double and triple rooms as well as comfortable apartments. From the rooms you can enjoy a wonderful view - either of the idyllic Rohrmoos or the lively main square of Schladming. In the morning you can fortify yourself at our rich and lovingly prepared breakfast buffet, which will give you an energetic start to the day.
Numerous stores and restaurants around the guesthouse invite you to stroll and enjoy. So you can spend your time in Schladming both relaxing and active.
Thanks to our central location, you can reach the Planai valley station in just a few minutes on foot. In summer, there are numerous leisure activities such as hiking, mountain biking and downhill riding, which start right outside the door.
In winter, you have direct access to the world-famous slopes of the Planai and can enjoy the skiing fun of the 4-mountain ski area. You will also find kilometers of cross-country ski trails in the immediate vicinity that leave nothing to be desired.

Host information
We are a family-run bed and breakfast, which was rebuilt by Mr Schachner Isidor senior and his wife Hermine after a major fire in Schladming in 1956. The first guests were welcomed in our house in 1964. Since 1999 the guesthouse has been run by Mr Schachner Harald and his wife Christine and will now be handed over to their daughter Tanja in the coming years.
Currently Harald, Christine and Tanja welcome you to the Pension Schachner.
