The cozy mountain farm of the Wieser and Anichhofer family is located in the middle of the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region at 1,100 m above sea level above the villages of Aich and Assach in the immediate vicinity of the 4-mountain ski area and in the middle of the hiking area of the Tauern. Here you will find peace and relaxation away from the tourist hustle and bustle to spend your best time of the year.
In summer, the most beautiful hikes can start directly here. But also in just 9 minutes by car you can reach the first entrance of the 4-mountain ski area, the Hauser Kaibling, ski mountain of the Ski amadé region. The Waldherrhof on the Gössenberg is therefore the ideal starting point for your winter holiday and for numerous activities and experiences for your summer holiday.
The popular excursion destination, Lake Constance in Styria, is only 1.5 km away from the Waldherrhof. This invites you to eat, hike, walk, feed fish and go boating. In addition to peace and relaxation on our mountain farm, you will find fun and action at the Aicher recreational lake, which is only 4 km away. But also numerous excursions, hikes and experiences in the Schladming-Dachstein region can be experienced directly from the Waldherrhof.
After the Hauser Kaibling is only a 9-minute drive from the Waldherrhof, our farm is also an ideal starting point for your skiing pleasure in the Schladming 4-mountain ski area. As the easternmost first entry, the Hauser Kaibling offers you not only the most beautiful slopes together with the neighbouring ski mountains Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm, but also unlimited skiing pleasure on 123 kilometres of slopes. The nearest town of Schladming can be reached in 19 minutes by car.
If there is enough snow, the start of the Enns trail can be reached in just 4 minutes by car. Ramsau with the Nordic Eldorado with 220 km of cross-country ski trails is only 20 minutes away by car. If you want to have the winter cozy, you can enjoy variety in winter hiking, horse-drawn sleigh rides, tobogganing and ice skating in the surrounding area.
Directly in the village of Aich, 4 km from the Waldherrhof, but also in the surrounding area you will find some very good restaurants such as, Forellenhof Fink (directly on the Styrian Lake Constance), Gasthof Grafenwirt, the Seestüberl, Bärenwirt or Kollerhof in Assach spoil you with their good cuisine.
