Tour description
The Schlosskirche in Donnersbach was integrated into the eastern wing of the former hunting lodge (built around 1560) in 1786.
It is dedicated to St. Aegidius and is located on a hill west of the village.
The combination of secular castle architecture and sacred space makes it unique.
In the castle courtyard, there is a cast of the Roman dedication stone from Donnersbach. The complex is protected as a historical monument.
