Tour description
The Enns loop combines gentle exercise with impressive scenery. Along the banks of the river, past wide meadows and always accompanied by views of the Grimming, it is a short but rewarding round - perfect for relaxed joggers and ambitious runners. Ideal for recharging your batteries and taking in the nature of the Enns Valley.

For nature lovers and endurance runners
From the start at the Irdning leisure center, the route initially leads straight to the Enns on gravel paths. Turn right there and follow the course of the river - partly through shady avenues - to Wörschach-Schwefelbad. Turn right at the bridge and continue along the road towards Ketten (Aigen), past the barracks.
In Ketten, keep right again at the Zechmann inn and walk leisurely past the campsite and the idyllic Putterersee lake. You return to Irdning through Schlattham, pass the sculpture park and finally reach the leisure center again.
The predominantly asphalted route offers a varied mix of proximity to the river, views and charming villages - ideal for a longer run in the Enns Valley.

Coming from Schladming: Turn right before the bridge overpass at Trautenfels Castle and take the first exit at the traffic circle towards Irdning. Follow this road, which leads over a railroad crossing and over the Ennsbrücke bridge. Turn left at the village sign and park at the large parking lot of the Irdning recreational facility/sports field.
Coming from Liezen: Turn right before the bridge overpass at Trautenfels Castle and take the 3rd exit at the traffic circle towards Irdning. Follow this road, which leads over a railroad crossing and over the Enns bridge. Turn left at the village sign and park at the large parking lot of the Irdning recreational facility/sports field.
Large and free parking lot at the starting point or directly at the train station (Park&Ride) Stainach-Irdning.
