Planner Berghaus

A vacation with us at Berghaus Planneralm is meant to be a special experience. It is located in the highest ski and mountain village in Styria, in the holiday region of Grimming-Donnersbachtal, amidst nature. The ideal place to leave everyday life behind, recharge your batteries, and feel nothing but peace and relaxation.

With us, you will stay in double, family, and multi-bed rooms, or in one of our two holiday apartments, all equipped with a shower, toilet, and satellite TV. If you wish, we would be happy to prepare breakfast for you. However, if you feel like cooking your own meals, take advantage of our large communal kitchen.

In summer, Planneralm is the central starting point for numerous hikes and summit tours. Enjoy the view far beyond the Donnersbachtal or refresh yourself in one of our clear mountain lakes. Archery in “Robin Hood Land,” a visit to the larch distillery, or a guided herbal trail tour - all options to experience your vacation with all your senses. A hike to the rustic and cozy Schrabachalm is definitely a hot tip. Here we will pamper you with culinary delights from the Alps.

In winter, you are right in the ski area, just a few minutes' walk from the slope. A small but fine family ski area, which has so far enjoyed pure natural snow slopes. Do you prefer to be off-piste? With touring or cross-country skis, snowshoes, or a toboggan? There are also several options available to ensure you have plenty of winter fun.

After an extensive day of hiking or skiing, return tired, relax in the in-house sauna, close your eyes, and reflect on the experiences of the day. Wouldn’t that be something?
