Tour description

A romantic, secluded cross-country loop in the district of Rössing. Passing several refreshment stops and the Ramsauer Lodenwalke, crisp climbs await, which also demand a lot from ambitious hobby athletes. The trail is approx. 7.4 km long, groomed for classic style and runs at an altitude between 905 and 1047 m. A wonderful loop for the sporty cross-country skier.

The trail starts at the Alte Mühle cross-country skiing trailhead. Here you cross the road and ski above the Rössinger Landesstraße eastwards through the forest in gentle ups and downs to the Jausenstation Fliegenpilz. Passing the inn, you reach the Silberkarklamm summer car park, cross the bridge over the stream there and ski on the other side via a loop around the farm vlg. Krin to the Rössingerhof with the Bauernhofbackstube. There the easternmost point is reached and you start your way back. After the farm vlg. Krin, turn left and ski down to the Lodenwalker and the Almstube Schlattinger, from where it is now a steady - and quite steep - climb back to the Alte Mühle.

At the Alte Mühle junction, the trail connects to the turning point of the Standardloipe OST, which also provides access to the Stadionloipe and Ramsau Ort.

From the west: Tauernautobahn A 10 to the Ennstal junction - exit towards Graz/Schladming - approx. 20 km on the Ennstal federal road to Schladming - turn-off Ramsau. Continue onto the Ramsau plateau and about 1 km after Ramsau Kulm turn right towards Rössing and continue to the Alte Mühle car park.From the north: Pyhrnautobahn towards Liezen Ennstal federal road to Schladming - turn-off Ramsau. Continue onto the Ramsau plateau and about 1 km after Ramsau Kulm turn right towards Rössing and continue to the Alte Mühle car park.

Take the buses of the Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe to Ramsau or to the starting point at the Alte Mühle.
