Map, elevation profile & further information

A possible starting point for this varied loop is the village center of Ramsau. From there, the route leads past the school towards Gasthaus Edelbrunn. Via Dachsteinhaus, the trail continues to Brandalm and through expansive, well-maintained alpine pastures as well as light larch forests up to Türlwandhütte – always accompanied by the impressive view of the Dachstein South Face. This is followed by a fast descent along the asphalt toll road back to the Ramsau high plateau. After a short, flatter section, the next climb begins up to Rittisberg. Upon reaching the summit cross, you are rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view stretching from the Dachstein to the Tauern mountains. The route then heads downhill towards Vorberg–Pichl, passing idyllic farmsteads and through a მშვიდ, flat section. The final ascent leads up to Kulmberg before a relaxed descent back to Ramsau provides the perfect finish.

Highlights along the route:

- Pure panorama: From the summit of Rittisberg, an impressive 360-degree view opens up – from the steep Dachstein South Face to the Schladming Tauern.
- Varied route: Challenging climbs, fast descents and quiet, flat sections ensure a successful mix of sport and enjoyment.
- Alpine atmosphere: Especially around Brandalm and Türlwandhütte, you can feel the proximity to the Dachstein. The wide alpine landscape at the foot of the imposing Dachstein South Face gives this section its special charm – perfect for a short break with a view.

Note: The route is rideable; individual snowfields are still present at higher elevations. Up to that point, nothing stands in the way of riding enjoyment – beyond that, please pay attention to the conditions and turn back if necessary.
From Salzburg:

Turn left there and follow the signs over serpentines in the direction of Ramsau. Continue along the road until you reach Ramsau. In the middle of the village, turn left at Hallenbadweg to the event centre.

From Graz:

Follow the A9 to Liezen. Change to the B320 and follow the road to Schladming. Turn right at the "Schladming Mitte" junction and follow the road to the next crossroads. Turn left there and follow the signs over serpentines in the direction of Ramsau. Continue along the road until you reach Ramsau.
