    Tour description

    With license plate recognition, the vehicle is automatically recorded upon entry and exit – manual ticket collection is no longer necessary.

    Especially practical: Payment can be easily and time-savingly made online in advance.

    The bike ticket can be purchased online through the Schladming-Dachstein ticket shop.
    NOW BUY BIKE TICKET ONLINE

    • Gravel road with a length of 8.5 km and approx. 500 m elevation gain with switchbacks
    • Maximum gradient 15% (short section)
    • No discount with the Schladming-Dachstein Card
    • Parking for 130 cars 
    • Regular bus service (4 times daily)
    • Accessible for buses up to 11m in length upon request 

    Possible excursions:

    • Beautiful, easily walkable alpine village circular hiking path, ideal for families and seniors
    • Giglach Lakes at 2,000 m altitude
    • Styrian Kalkspitze at 2,459 m altitude
    • High paths to Hopfriesen | Duisitzkarsee | Keinprechthütte | Hochwurzen | Obertauern | Oberhüttensee-Forstau

    “Caution” in the entire valley, free-ranging livestock! Also on the road!
    Dogs are allowed until further notice, but must be kept on a leash! (Report for non-compliance)
