Caution: The children's via ferrata features a flying fox. This should only be used under expert supervision – a brake is required, otherwise you will crash into the tree below with great force.

Via ferrata equipment is absolutely necessary!

Ramsau Kids' Club offers guided tours on Thursdays in summer for children (9 years +). Registration at the Tourist Information Centre.

From the bus stop or the "Alte Mühle" parking lot, head to the Alte Mühle (Old Mill). Turn left there and climb the scree slope to the starting point.

Follow the nature and environmental trail, past the Pension Concordia, back down to the Ramsaubach stream, and then take the Hofrat-Gruber-Weg back to the bus stop and parking lot at the Alte Mühle.

Arriving from the west:

From the west you can take the Munich-Salzburg motorway, continuing on the Tauern motorway (A 10) until the Ennstal junction. From here take the Ennstal A-road (the B 320) for around 30 km into the Schladming-Dachstein region, then take the Ramsau am Dachstein turn-off. Continue to the Ramsau plateau and about 1 km after Ramsau Kulm turn right to Rössing and continue to the Alte Mühle parking lot.

Arriving from the north and east:

From the south-east take the Pyhrnautobahn motorway (A 9) to the Liezen junction and then the Ennstal A-road (B 320) into the Schladming-Dachstein region. Then take the Ramsau am Dachstein turn-off. Continue to the Ramsau plateau and about 1 km after Ramsau Kulm turn right to Rössing and continue to the Alte Mühle parking lot.

The starting point can be reached by hiking route #962 - bus stop "Alte Mühle".
