Ski operations on the Planai

On the Planai, you can already enjoy great runs on perfectly groomed slopes. Almost all lifts on the Planai & Hochwurzen, as well as the 4-mountain ski swing, have been opened as part of the legendary Schladming Ski Opening. This means that a wide range of slopes and sports activities await you from the weekend onwards.

Please note: to start your day of skiing on the Planai in a relaxed manner on the event days, we recommend taking the Planai West 8-seater gondola lift. There is plenty of parking, ski storage, and regular ski buses to the concert area. (Please note: From Friday to Sunday, there is no parking available directly at the Planai main cable car. From Monday onwards, you can use both the parking garage and the underground car park directly at Planet Planai free of charge for your day of skiing.)

The Planai finish slope is already open. During the event weekend from 5 to 7 December, descent into the valley to Planet Planai will only be possible until approximately 4 p.m. After that, the finish slope will be closed.
