The tour

From the starting point, this tour leads via the Lärchbodenalm to the Guttenberghaus, which is not open to the public in winter. From there you can go through a cauldron to the Feistererscharte and then to the Sinabell (crampons required). However, the last climb is easier to do without skis. You go down the same way - numerous downhill variants are available to you here.

Turn-by-turn directions

Ascent: from Hotel Feistererhof, the tour leads over the Lärchboden Alm to the Guttenberghaus (closed in winter). After you pass the Guttenberghaus, the ski tour continues through a basin up to the Feistererscharte. For the ascent of the Sinabell, it is usually easier to take off your skis. Descent: same as ascent with countless variations.
