The tour
The Steirische Bodensee in the Seewig Valley can be reached via Ruperting near Haus or the Gössenberg from Aich. This excursion destination is worth seeing and visiting all year round. In winter, however, the landscape around the Steirische Bodensee exudes its special flair: snow-covered trees, the frozen lake, the Hochwildstelle in its most beautiful winter dress - all united in the valley basin of the Seewigtal. A hike through seemingly untouched nature.
Turn-by-turn directions
Wonderful and unforgettable is a hike through the romantic rear Seewig valley. Starting point is the parking lot Steirischer Bodensee. The trail continues to the Steirische Bodensee. This can also be circumnavigated in winter. The widely known Forellenhof, which is located directly at the lake, invites you to stay. In winter the access roads are toll-free.
