Map, elevation profile & further information
This tour starts at the Planet Planai valley station. Through the beautiful, cool Talbachklamm gorge in summer you will reach Untertal, where you follow the road to the left for approx. 2.5 km at the fire station. Then turn left over the Janerbrücke bridge in the direction of Fastenberg. From now on it goes uphill with a beautiful view of Rohrmoos and Schladming. At km 10, turn right onto Planaistraße. After the middle station, the ascent leads uphill on a pleasantly rising gravel path. Once you have reached the top station, you have a beautiful view over the whole Ennstal valley. The huts also invite you to linger. The descent takes place again on the Planaistraße downhill to Schladming. For the brave, there is the possibility to start the descent on the blue trails in the bike park. The blue routes can also be mastered with normal bikes. If you want to skip the last part of the descent over the Planai (red) finish slope, turn onto Planaistraße at the Kessleralm and return to Schladming.
