Tour description
Experience an unforgettable hike in the enchanting landscape of the wintry Enns Valley and enjoy the soothing murmur of the Enns River. Cleared winter hiking trails lead from the village of Haus, starting at Schlossplatz in Markt Haus or the Erlebnisfreibad Haus, across the suspension bridge to Weißenbach (or vice versa) and back again.

Starting from Schlossplatz in Markt Haus, the hike leads you to the Erlebnisfreibad Haus. Behind the swimming pool, turn right and follow the path down to the Enns. There, you cross the river via the suspension bridge and continue in an easterly direction to the crossroads at the entrance to Weißenbach. Walk through the underpass into the village of Weißenbach. Take in the atmosphere of the small village, stop by the Dorf Café, and then head back towards Haus im Ennstal. At the crossroads, however, follow the road for a short distance to the large Ennsbrücke bridge. After crossing the bridge, turn immediately right towards the sports field and from there back to the Erlebnisfreibad and return to the village of Haus.
Take the Ennstalbundesstraße (B320) to Haus im Ennstal and take the exit. Drive through the village to the center to Schlossplatz or alternatively to the parking lot at the Erlebnisfreibad Haus.

Postbus line 900 to Haus im Ennstal.
Ankle-high, warm shoes, warm clothing, gloves and a hat. Possibly a small backpack with a warm drink in a thermos flask. When winter hiking, it is also advisable to have crampons/snow spikes with you in order to be prepared for slippery conditions if necessary.
Tip: Cozy cafés and refreshment stops in Weißenbach and the market town of Haus invite you to linger.
