Robbie Williams Elevates Ski Opening Schladming - Dachstein to a Whole New Dimension
06/09/2023
Global superstar Robbie Williams is set to electrify the stage at Ski Opening Schladming-Dachstein on December 7th and 8th, 2023, in the Planai Stadium. At the conclusion of his world tour, this extraordinary performer will deliver two encore concerts in Austria, presented by the Leutgeb Entertainment Group in collaboration with the Schladming-Dachstein Region and the Schladming 4-Mountain Ski Area (Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm).
Major Anticipation for Robbie Williams
Ski Opening in the Planai Stadium has previously brought international artists like Die Toten Hosen, Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas, and Lost Frequencies to the stage. However, 2023 will set a whole new benchmark. On December 7th and 8th, superstar Robbie Williams promises to elevate this mega-event to unparalleled dimensions. He already had an opportunity to scope out the stunning venue at the Reiteralm back on July 23rd in anticipation of his concerts. During a press conference, Robbie Williams expressed his appreciation for Austria and its enthusiastic audiences. Asked what the audience can expect on the two December dates, he responded with a casual grin: “My job is to entertain you and I take that job very seriously – so that‘s what I will do at the two concerts in Schladming. And if I don‘t do that, I didn‘t do my job! I have a strong connection to my audience in Austria and the memories of my shows here will always stay in my heart.”
Powerful Partnerships Kick off the Season with a Bang
The return of Ski Opening Schladming-Dachstein, after a three-year hiatus, is a collaboration between the Schladming-Dachstein Region, the 4-Mountain Ski Area including the Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm ski mountains, and Leutgeb Entertainment Group. Mathias Schattleitner, Managing Director of Schladming-Dachstein, asserts, "The Schladming-Dachstein Region, the top ski destination in the Alps, offers holiday experiences of the highest caliber. With Robbie Williams performing, we further solidify our elite status. This year's Ski Opening will not only kick off the 2023/24 winter season in style but also serve as a major turbo-boost for the local economy."
Spectacular Stage Show
Planai Stadium will be transformed into a jaw-dropping concert arena for this singular event. A vast LED wall, stunning lighting effects, and a laser show will blend seamlessly with the winter landscape. State-of-the-art stage technology combined with riveting performances promises an unforgettable experience, while a meticulously choreographed pyrotechnic and laser show will deliver the finishing touches and surprise elements.
