Family discounts
The Schneebären Card partners support families with various ticket discounts. Schneebären Card families and partner season ticket packages can be purchased at a discount of up to 40%.
Discounts with family pass or family confirmation
Families with family proof receive discounts on both day and multi-day tickets.
What counts as family proof?
In Austria, individual federal states offer family passes for families (e.g. Styrian family pass "Two and More"), on which the legal guardians and children are listed with their dates of birth. Possible evidence for guests from other federal states or national states also includes e-cards (social security cards), identity cards and passports if it clearly shows that the children are your own children and are under 18 years old.
Discounts for families on day tickets
Parents and children up to 18 years receive a 10% discount on tickets lasting up to 1 day if parents accompany the registered children on the ski day and the tickets are purchased together. Only valid upon presentation of ID/family confirmations.
Discounts for families on multi-day tickets
When parents and children purchase multi-day tickets together, all other children from the third child onwards travel for free. Only valid upon presentation of ID/family confirmations.
Baby card
In general, ski tickets are not transferable. The Schneebären ski areas offer the Baby Card for parents with children under three years old. With this card, the young parents can take turns skiing so that the other one can look after the baby or toddler.
Both parents and the child are registered at the lift ticket office and photographed so that the cable car employees can identify both authorized persons when making visual comparisons as they pass through the turnstile. The card is NOT transferable between generations (e.g. mother, grandmother).
