Ski Tour Rittisberg Süd
eenvoudig Ski tour open terrain · Ramsau am Dachstein
Easy ski tour to the Rittisberg with an ascent on open terrain and descent on the ski slope. At the top of the Rittisberg, you will be rewarded with a unique view of the Dachstein mountain range. The descent is via the ski slope. To ensure wildlife protection, you can only do this ski tour during lift operating hours, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
In open terrain, this ski tour follows orange snow pole markings.
The starting point for this ski tour is the paid parking at the Rittisberglift Süd. On the other side of the road, the ski tour will lead towards the mountain along a narrow path. After approx. 500 m, you will enter the forest. From there, you will follow the markings (orange snow poles) through the snow-covered forest. When you completed 2/3 of the ski tour, you will reach a forest trail - follow the markings until you reach a sharp right turn where you will enter another forest trail. A couple of bends uphill - one last, steep ascent - there you are, at Rittisberg’s summit cross. Enjoy the fantastic view of the Torstein-Mitterspitz-Dachstein.
Descent: ski down to the north of the summit cross and follow a flat forestry road for around 1.5 km to the Rittisstadel, where you can stop for a little rest. Then, a wonderful descent on the ski slope will take you back to your starting point/parking Rittis Süd.
From the west:
