XC Night Trail Ramsau
eenvoudig geopend Cross-country skiing · Ramsau am Dachstein
When the last rays of the sun disappear behind the mountains, the day also comes to an end on the sunny plateau. The fun of cross-country skiing is not over yet. Several tracks in the World Cup stadium and part of the standard West cross-country trail are illuminated in the evening. There are almost limitless cross-country skiing experiences in Ramsau am Dachstein.
Another advantage of the night trail around the stadium is that the groomer drivers can concentrate on preparing all the other trails during this time. After closure of the Night Trail the central stadium area is prepared for the next day. It is important for the quality of the trail that it can then harden properly during the night. Therefore, please do not run on the freshly groomed cross-country ski trails in the evenings or at night. Your tracks then freeze and reduce the quality of the trail for the next morning.
You start in the World Cup stadium in the center of Ramsau. Along the standard West cross-country ski run, you can draw your tracks in the evening on the freshly groomed cross-country ski run up to the Minzlhof farm. On the same route - and with the opportunity to take a lap around the reservoir, you run back to the stadium.
