Tour description
This moderate MTB tour leads from Radstadt via the Bürgerbergalm towards Altenmarkt and back again. You can expect scenic sections, sunny forest roads, and a nice mix of climbs and descents.
Tip: the Bürgerbergalm with its sun terrace, playground, and homemade cheese dumplings is a great place to stop.
The tour originally comes from our colleagues in SalzburgerLand – you can find more information at the following link: Bürgerberg Loop (SW 14)

Map, elevation profile & further information
You start at the town square in Radstadt and head west out of the village. At the town pond, turn right into Loretostraße and follow it to the right turn into Bürgerbergstraße. Follow this road uphill until, after several switchbacks, you turn right onto a forest road.
Continue uphill in several, partly steeper switchbacks to the Bürgerbergalm. Shortly after the hut, keep left at the first fork, then go straight at the next fork to reach the highest point of the tour.
The descent starts here: at the next junction go straight, and at the following fork keep left. From around km 11, you reach a paved road again, which you follow downhill in several switchbacks.
At the bottom, you join the old main road. Turn left here and follow it back to Radstadt until you reach the town square again.
