The tour
Map, elevation profile & further information
After just over 2 kilometers and around 270 meters of elevation gain, you reach a junction. Here, you can optionally turn left to the Kleinbergalm, which is a good spot for a short break. The main loop, however, continues straight ahead.
From here, you ride on well-maintained forest roads in a wide loop around the wooded Wurmegg. The route is mostly slightly downhill or nearly flat, offering a nice recovery section after the first climb.
After about 7.5 kilometers, the final climb begins, leading you up to the Schwaigalm – the highest point of the tour. After a break on the sunny terrace, a fast descent takes you back down to the valley floor.
Once in the valley, head east and follow the route back to Filzmoos, returning to the starting point in the village center.
From Graz, take the B67 and the A9/E57 towards Salzburg and exit onto the B320 at Selzthal.
Follow the B320 via Liezen and Schladming, then continue on the L725 towards Ramsau and further along Filzmooser Straße to Filzmoos.
In the village, follow the final turns to reach the town center.
From Salzburg, take the B150 and B160 to the A10 Tauern motorway towards Graz/Villach.
Take exit 60 Eben and continue on the B99 towards Eben.
At the roundabout, turn onto Filzmooser Straße and follow it via Schattbach directly to the center of Filzmoos.
