From 15 to 17 January 2027, the Ramsau Plateau will once again be transformed into a paradise for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. On the 40-kilometre panoramic route through the snow-covered winter landscape, the motto is: ‘Pure enjoyment in a single run.’ Those who prefer to take it at a more leisurely pace can opt for the 10-kilometre route – which can also be completed as a team.
Alongside the team competition, the leisurely cross-country run with culinary stops and a varied programme of events – ranging from kids races to an evening at a mountain hut – ensure unforgettable experiences. The Dachstein Run embodies the living tradition of cross-country skiing in Ramsau am Dachstein and delights professionals, enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
Biathlon for guests
Biathlon is fascinating. Not just on TV, when the world's best do their laps and try to turn the black targets white while standing or lying down. You can also try it yourself. There are several opportunities in the region to get closer to the fascination of biathlon. The offers range from laser rifles, air pressure rifles and small caliber rifles with which you can test your marksmanship in the biathlon stadium. The trainers teach the correct breathing and shooting techniques to find the optimum pulse and rhythm for shooting after the dynamic cross-country skiing sessions.
